Film synopsis
Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

Plot

Two years after the Battle of Sokovia,Thor has been unsuccessfully searching for the Infinity Stones, and is now imprisoned by the fire demon Surtur. Surtur reveals that Thor's father Odin is no longer on Asgard, and that the realm will soon be destroyed in the prophesied Ragnarök, once Surtur unites his crown with the Eternal Flame that burns beneath the city. Thor defeats Surtur and claims his crown, believing he has prevented Ragnarök.
Thor returns to Asgard to find his adopted brother Loki posing as Odin. Thor forces Loki to help him find their father, and with directions from Stephen Strange on Earth they locate Odin in Norway. He explains that he is dying, and that his passing will allow his firstborn daughter Hela to escape from a prison she was sealed in long ago. Hela had been the leader of Asgard's armies, and had conquered the Nine Realms with Odin, but had been imprisoned and written out of history after her ambitions became too great. Odin dies, and Hela appears. She destroys Thor's hammer Mjolnir, and when Thor and Loki attempt to flee through the Bifröst Bridge, she pursues them and forces them out into space to die. Hela arrives in Asgard, destroys its army, resurrects the ancient dead who once fought with her, and appoints the downtrodden Asgardian Skurge as her executioner. She plans to use the Bifröst to expand Asgard's empire, but Heimdall steals the sword that controls the Bridge, and hides away with the rest of Asgard's citizens.
Thor crash-lands on the planet Sakaar, a garbage planet surrounded by wormholes. He is captured by a mercenary named Scrapper 142, and taken to serve as a gladiator for the planet's ruler, the Grandmaster, whom Loki has already become ingratiated with. Thor recognizes 142 as one of the Valkyrie, a legendary force of female fighters who were killed defending Asgard from Hela long ago. Thor is forced to compete in the Grandmaster's Contest of Champions, facing his old friend the Hulk. Thor almost defeats the Hulk, before the Grandmaster fixes the fight to ensure the Hulk's victory. Still enslaved, Thor attempts to convince Hulk and 142 to help him save Asgard, but neither is willing. He soon manages to escape the palace and find the Quinjet that brought the Hulk to Sakaar. The Hulk follows Thor to the Quinjet, where a recording of Natasha Romanoffmakes the Hulk transform back into Bruce Banner for the first time since Sokovia.
The Grandmaster orders 142 and Loki to find Thor and the Hulk, but the pair come to blows and Loki forces her to relive the deaths of her fellow Valkyrie at the hands of Hela; she decides to help Thor, taking Loki captive to prove her goodwill. Unwilling to be left behind, Loki provides the group with the means to steal one of the Grandmaster's ships. They then liberate the other gladiators who, led by Korg and Miek, stage a revolt. Loki attempts to betray his brother to gain a reward from the Grandmaster, but Thor anticipates this and leaves him behind. Loki is soon found by the gladiators. Thor, Banner, and 142 escape through a wormhole to Asgard, where Hela's forces are attacking Heimdall and Asgard's citizens. Banner becomes the Hulk again, and fights Skurge and the resurrected warriors with 142 while Thor faces Hela. Loki and the gladiators arrive to help, and the citizens board their large ship; a repentant Skurge sacrifices himself to allow their escape. Thor loses an eye, whereupon he has a vision of Odin that helps him realize that only Ragnarök can defeat Hela. He, 142, and the Hulk distract Hela while Loki finds Surtur's crown and places it in the Eternal Flame. Surtur is reborn and destroys Asgard, seemingly killing Hela.
Thor and the others escape aboard the Grandmaster's ship with Asgard's remaining citizens, where Thor is crowned king and decides to rebuild Asgard on Earth. In a mid-credits scene, they come across a large spaceship. In a post-credits scene, the Grandmaster confronts his subjects, who are still fighting the revolution started by the gladiators.

Geostorm

Geostorm is a 2017 American disaster film co-written, co-produced and directed by Dean Devlin as his feature film directorial debut. And produced by David Ellison,Dean Devlin,Dana Goldberg
This movie is release on 19 October 2017

Film synopsis
After an unprecedented series of natural disasters threatened the planet, the world's leaders came together to create an intricate network of satellites to control the global climate and keep everyone safe. But now, something has gone wrong: the system built to protect Earth is attacking it, and it becomes a race against the clock to uncover the real threat before a worldwide geostorm wipes out everything and everyone along with it.

Trailer,

Plot,
In 2019, after several natural disasters of epic proportions hit Earth, 18 nations[7] have banded together and commissioned a natural disaster defense system nicknamed "Dutch Boy", a series of climate-controlling satellites surrounding Earth centered around the International Climate Space Station. Jake Lawson is the architect behind it all, commanding a multinational crew on board the station, until, after a Senate sub-committee hearing where he is tasked with defending his past actions vis-a-vis Dutch Boy, goes postal and verbally attacks Virginia senator Thomas Cross, head of the sub-committee, after Cross insinuates less-than-diplomatic notions about his conduct (including an instance where, in an attempt to prevent a federal inspector touching a short-circuting electrical system, Lawson punched the federal inspector sent by the sub-committee). He is replaced by his relatively calmer brother, Max Lawson.
Three years later, a United Nations field team is riding through Afghanistan when they are confronted with an unnerving sight: an entire village frozen, along with its inhabitants. U.S. President Andrew Palma calls an emergency meeting of his Cabinet (including Max), who now works for the State Department under Secretary Leonard Dekkom where it is revealed that an alleged malfunction in the satellite responsible for maintaining Afghanistan's weather caused the freezing. President Palma wants the incident all covered up to prevent the nations involved in the project from brewing up a political storm, as the United States is slated to hand over authority over the Space Station to the international community in two weeks' time. Max protests in the strongest possible terms and reminds Palma that they must take responsibility and fix the problems with Dutch Boy. The President consents to sending one man up to the station; Despite his objections, Max reluctantly chooses Jake under suggestions by Dekkom.
Max approaches Jake at his house in Cocoa Beach, Florida, where he has lived for the past three years, intermittently accompanied by his daughter Hannah (who has been under shared custody with Jake's ex-wife after the sub-committee fiasco, costing him his home and marriage), to persuade him to go back up into the job. Jake is at first cold and unresponsive to his brother's advance. However, after Max appeals to Jake's passion for his work, he agrees. Meanwhile, an extreme increase of temperature in Hong Kong results in a massive gas leak, destroying part of the city and nearly killing Cheng, Max's college friend and the Dutch Boy Program's Hong Kong bureau chief.
Upon arriving at ICSS, Jake is introduced to Ute Fassbinder, the commander of the space station, along with his crew: Duncan, Hernandez, Adisa, and Dussette. When the crew tries to investigate one of the malfunctioning satellites, the machine holding the satellite malfunctions, causing the satellite to be broken beyond repair, and all of its data is lost. Meanwhile, Cheng contacts Max, who tells him that he can't access the Hong Kong satellite despite having the authority to do so. He also tells Max that if the malfunction continues, the world will suffer from "Geostorm", a chain reaction of massive disasters all over the world that will lead to millions of people dying. Max, being the man in charge of the Dutch Boy, also can't access the satellite. He enlists Dana, a friend of his who is also a hacker, and discovers that his authority is blocked. During a blackout, Cheng's office is raided by armed mercenaries. Cheng manages to hide and decides to fly to the States to tell Max.
In another attempt to find the cause of the malfunction, Jake and Ute fly outside the ICSS to retrieve a flash drive which has been ejected into space, following a freak accident which killed a member of the ICSS. However, Jake's suit malfunctions, causing his boosters to out of control and nearly gets himself out of reach of the ICSS. After being rescued, Jake reveals to Ute that he has retrieved the flash drive, but has kept it secret from his crew, suspecting that someone's tried to kill him. Jake and Ute attempt to find the source of the error, but are blocked by someone; Jake concludes that someone within the White House is responsible. Jake tells Max about this in an encrypted message. Meanwhile, Cheng meets up with Max, but is killed when someone pushes him and he crashes into a car. but not before he tells Max about Zeus. Max and Dana crack Jake's encrypted message and discovers that Zeus is a simulation program which deduces which possible scenarios will happen to every country when the Dutch Boy satellites malfunction.
Jake and Ute, with the help of Dussette, discovers a data kept by the dead ICSS member in a locker and discovers that the entire system has been infected by a virus. Jake believes that the President is behind the attack and is using the Dutch Boy as a weapon. He tells Max in order to restore Dutch Boy, he needs to reboot the system entirely, but not before he receives the kill code, held by the President. Max asks Sarah, his fiance and a Secret Service agent, to help him to acquire the kill
code.
During the presidential campaign in Colorado, Max reveals his intentions to Dekkom, in which Dekkom agrees to help. Max eventually escapes after Dekkom attempts to kill him, being the one behind the malfunction of the Dutch Boy. Max eventually tells Sarah, and they decide to "kidnap" President Palma. They manage to save President Palma and escape from the stadium before a massive thunderstorm blows up the stadium. They are pursued by Dekkom's troops but Sarah takes them down and watches one of them (who happens to be the one that pushed Cheng) die after lightning blows up the car. Dekkom attempts to track their car and blow it up, but Max outsmarts and confronts Dekkom. Before he is arrested, Dekkom reveals his intentions to use the satellite to wipe out all of America's enemies and kill the candidates in the upcoming Presidential election.
Meanwhile, the virus affects the entire ICSS, causing the self destruct mechanism to activate. It was a defense mechanism created by Jake in case of crashing to Earth. Jake realizes that Duncan is the inside man, and the one who's initiating the self destruct program. Duncan is killed, and Jake escapes. As the crew evacuates, Jake decides to stay behind in order to ensure that the reboot is complete. Max and Sarah manage to escort the President to a nearby NASA facility, where it is revealed that while the Geostorm can be stopped, it cannot stop the destruction of the ICSS. Ute decides to also stay behind in order to help Jake, and manages to reboot the system, preventing the Geostorm. They manage to take shelter in an attached satellite, and manage to escape from the exploding ICSS. Hernandez and his remaining crew manages to get hold of their satellite and arrive safely on Earth. Jake and Max eventually reconcile, and are greeted by President Palma.
Six months later, Jake manages to reclaim his job as the engineer of the Dutch Boy, with the Dutch Boy given to the international committee. The movie ends with Hannah narrating that no-one can change the past, but people can embrace the future, as a rocket flies in the distance to the stars above.

This movie is directed by Alex Kurtzman.

The Mummy premiered at the State Theatre in SydneyAustralia on May 22, 2017, and was theatrically released in the United States on June 9, 2017, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D. It received negative reviews from critics and grossed over $409 million worldwide.

Trailer,

Plot,
In 1127 A.D., several English crusader knights bury an Egyptian ruby within the tomb of one of their members. In present-day London, a construction crew discovers the tomb and a mysterious man is authorized to investigate the site. Ominous reporting on the news notes that people are not as far from important relics of the past as they realize.
In a flashback to the New Kingdom era, Princess Ahmanet is first in line to succeed her father Menehptre until his second wife gives birth to a son. Determined to claim the throne for herself, Ahmanet summons Set, who agrees to help her if she uses a mystical dagger to transfer his spirit into a corporeal form. After killing her family, Ahmanet attempts to sacrifice her lover to Set but is captured by her father's priests and condemned to be mummified alive for eternity. Her sarcophagus is buried in Mesopotamia and submerged in a pool of mercury so that her monstrous form will not escape.
In present-day Iraq, Sergeant Nick Morton and Corporal Chris Vail, while on Long Range Reconnaissance for the U.S. Army, discover the tomb of Ahmanet after calling in an airstrike on an insurgent stronghold. Jennifer Halsey, an archaeologist who had a one-night stand with Nick and had stolen her map, arrives and investigates the tomb, correctly concluding that it is a prison. After Nick extracts Ahmanet's sarcophagus from the pool of mercury, Nick's superior, Colonel Greenway, places it on a transport plane headed to England. During the flight, Vail becomes possessed by Ahmanet's power after being bitten by a camel spider while inside the tomb. After attempting to open the sarcophagus, he stabs Greenway and tries to attack the group, forcing Nick to kill him. A huge number of crows then assault the plane, causing it to crash and killing everyone on board except for Jennifer, who is parachuted off the plane by Nick.
Nick awakens a day later in a morgue in Oxford, discovering that he has been brought back to life by unknown means, and he learns from Vail's sardonic ghost that he has been cursed by Ahmanet, who seeks to use him as a replacement vessel for Set. Ahmanet's mummy escapes from the sarcophagus and begins feeding on rescue workers to regenerate her decomposed body. Turning the workers into zombie minions, she lures Nick and Jennifer into a trap, forcing the two to fight off the minions as they unsuccessfully try to escape.
Ahmanet also recovers the 'Dagger of Set' from a reliquary in a nearby church. At the last moment, however, unknown soldiers appear and subdue Ahmanet. Their leader, Dr. Henry Jekyll, explains that Jennifer is an agent of Prodigium, a secret society dedicated to hunting supernatural threats. He reveals much of his own history and confirms that Nick was cursed when Ahmanet's tomb was opened. Although first welcoming Dr. Jekyll's help, Nick (as well as Jennifer) become horrified to discover the doctor's intention to complete the ritual, allowing Set to possess Nick completely, in the belief that this will render Set vulnerable and allow his evil to be ended forever.
Meanwhile, Ahmanet summons a spider to possess a Prodigium technician and frees herself from captivity, wreaking havoc, death, and destruction in the process. After verbally sparring with Nick, Jekyll succumbs to his own dark impulses and transforms into Edward Hyde, his murderous and psychotic alternate personality, even as Ahmanet wreaks havoc outside unbeknownst to them. Nick rebuffs the repulsive Hyde's offer of an alliance between them, and Hyde attacks him. However, Nick manages to stop him with the serum Jekyll uses to suppress his evil side. He and Jennifer then escape from Prodigium, but they run into Ahmanet once again. She steals back the dagger, summons an army of deceased English crusaders to serve her, and creates a massive sandstorm that ravages London, with Nick and Jennifer narrowly escaping her grasp. The undead knights slaughter the Prodigium soldiers in the tomb discovered during the film's opening, and Ahmanet finally recovers the ruby and places it in the dagger's pommel, granting her all that she needs to free Set aside from Nick himself.
Guided by the spectral Vail, Nick and Jennifer flee into the London Underground tunnels, but they are soon attacked by Ahmanet's minions. Ahmanet captures Jennifer and drowns her, hoping to break her hold over Nick. Nick puts up a determined fight, but he gives up and lets himself embrace Ahmanet, using it as a ruse to steal the dagger and shatter the ruby. However, he sees the lifeless Jennifer and bets on stabbing himself. His body is partially possessed by Set, who proceeds to join Ahmanet to uphold his end of the bargain. However, looking back at Jennifer's dead body, Nick regains control, using Set's powers to overpower and suck the life out of Ahmanet. With her transformed back into a shriveled mummy, Nick then harnesses Set's powers to resurrect Jennifer, saying goodbye before becoming overwhelmed by Set's nature and disappearing. Soon, Jennifer regroups with Dr. Jekyll, and they tensely discuss if Nick, now fused with Set in an uncertain way, will use his powers for good, evil, or something else entirely. Ahmanet's corpse is lowered into a locked pool of mercury within the Prodigium base for safekeeping. Later on in the desert, Nick resurrects Vail, and the two set out on a new adventure.

Film synopsis,
Nick Morton is a soldier of fortune who plunders ancient sites for timeless artifacts and sells them to the highest bidder. When Nick and his partner come under attack in the Middle East, the ensuing battle accidentally unearths Ahmanet, a betrayed Egyptian princess who was entombed under the desert for thousands of years. With her powers constantly evolving, Morton must now stop the resurrected monster as she embarks on a furious rampage through the streets of London.

Warcraft

Warcraft

Hello everyone,
Warcraft is a 2016 American action fantasy film directed by Duncan Jones and written byJones,Charles Leavitt, and Chris Metzen .This movie is based on the video game

Best action movie,
Trailer,

Sammary,
First, a confession: I have never played any incarnation of “Warcraft.” I’m just going to put that out there right now—be up front about it. We’re all friends here. We should be honest with each other.
So I went in with an open mind to “Warcraft,” the movie based on the video game, and I’m reviewing it purely on its own merits as a stand-alone entity. Many of you out there may read this and cry foul: “She’s never played the game! She has no idea what she’s talking about!” And I’m OK with that. Really, I am. But I’m also hoping that the game is more emotionally engaging—or at least, you know, fun—than the movie I just saw. Because that thing was a dour mess.
And it brings me no joy to report that to you because “Warcraft” comes from a filmmaker whose work I’ve been a big fan of: Duncan Jones. With just two features to his credit, Jones has shown a real knack for taking complex, sci-fi stories and telling them in clever, intimate ways. His debut, “Moon,” was my favorite movie of 2009; it was about mind-blowing, existential stuff but it had real verve, immediacy and heart. (Plus: If one Sam Rockwell is good, two Sam Rockwells are great.) Jones’ 2011 follow-up, the time-travel puzzle “Source Code,” felt like a bit of a let-down by comparison but it was thrilling and challenging, and it showed his evolution as a filmmaker with a bigger cast and more expensive toys.
So it’s hard to figure out what happened with Jones and “Warcraft.” It’s as if the endeavor swallowed him whole. This was clearly a formidable undertaking filled with sweeping imagery, motion-capture performances and tons of visual effects, all being projected in overwhelming IMAX 3-D. In the midst of all that, it’s difficult to hear his voice—to see his attention to detail.
An enormous budget and state-of-the-art technology have resulted in a movie that looks cheesy and cartoonish—a big-screen version of a video game world that more closely resembles the video game commercials you see on TV. But “Warcraft” is difficult to follow from both a visual and a narrative perspective, with massive battle scenes between orcs and humans in which it’s difficult to tell who’s doing what to whom.
Similar to luggage at the airport, many orcs look alike. Hulking, tusked, muscular and festooned with fierce accoutrements, they’re like refugees from a GWAR concert. But eventually you don’t know whether you’re looking at a good orc or a bad orc, and the CGI spectacle of it all renders everything with a glossy, detached sameness.
Forgive me for wanting a little realism in my orcs. Because yes, that’s what “Warcraft” is about: orcs and humans, and their noisy efforts to enter each other’s realms and destroy each other. But the mythology is much more dense than that; the script from Jones and Charles Leavitt contains reams of expository dialogue, yet the story itself feels mind-bogglingly convoluted. And yet, in between the self-serious, stilted conversations, we get snippets of quippy, anachronistic banter that are meant to provide humor but instead end up being jarring.
